This masterclass will look at developing, the ideas and best practises for managing teams during uncertain times. Now more than ever a flexible style to management needs to be considered due to the every day changing landscape in a post covid-19 world, with a focus on the principles of effective team working in this new setting.

Within the hour it will also discuss, how blending skills training into the workplace will allow managers to develop a more dynamic/adaptive team to take on new challenges presented by external factors.

The masterclass is best suited to current /aspiring managers and senior business leaders that lead/manage a team.

Speakers include:

Jo Murphy - Business Development Manager Worcester Business School - University of Worcester
Jo is the Business Development Manager for Worcester Business School. Jo worked in IT for large companies for the early part of her career before relocating back to Worcestershire and into the Education sector. She has worked in two FE Colleges before joining the
University of Worcester in 2017. During her time at the University, Jo has been a lecturer and Course Lead before moving into the
Business Development and Partnerships Team.

Dr Paulo Mora-Avila - Lecturer in PR and Corporate Reputation, Public Relations and Campaigning Leader
Paulo has an extensive international experience in the fields of Marketing, Advertising and PR, performing roles both in academic and practical levels. He holds an MBA from Royal Holloway University of London and a PhD in Marketing, Social Media and Consumer Behaviour with a focus on branding from the University of Birmingham. Paulos teaching experience include Lecturer in Marketing at Birkbeck University of London, Lecturer in Marketing Strategy at Hult Business school and Assistant to Lecturers in Marketing Management at Birmingham University. His teaching and research areas of interest include, consumer behaviour, brands, social media, digital marketing, corporate reputation, and cross-cultural and cross-generational marketing.
