ABOUT ABOUT

Possessing IP rights (patents, trade marks, copyright) is a source of competitive advantage and a reward for creativity. Protection of those rights is critical for your business and can mean the difference between success and failure. Your rights may be affected post Brexit. Forresters will provide clear guidance on these topics, using examples of client success stories.

The event is aimed at business owners, manufacturers, marketing directors and managers, technical directors and managers, product designers, branding consultants, solicitors, law firms, accountants, educational sectors, all levels from all types of business. We will help attendees identify the many aspects of their business that can be protected (for example, their name and logo, designs, inventions, trade marks, creative works) to appreciate the value of those assets and to protect themselves from their competitors.

Attendees will learn about the different types of intellectual property (IP), identify what IP they have themselves (ALL businesses will have some form of IP) and, will appreciate the importance of protecting these valuable assets, particularly in a post-Brexit world  With clear and jargon-free advice, Forresters will explain the steps they need to take to get protection in place.
